The Global Alliance for Sustainable Energy is rapidly emerging as an important player in the discussion about the future of the global energy system and the role that will be played by renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power.
The Alliance was among the key talking points in the industry panel discussion organized by Trina Solar, one of our founding members, during the Intersolar Europe exhibition and moderated by Walburga Hemetsberger, CEO of SolarPower Europe.
For the Alliance, Massimo Lombardi, Head of Sustainability Ecosystem at Enel Green Power, was on hand to explain why Enel Green Power, Trina Solar and all the 17 founding members decided it was necessary to set up a Global Alliance for Sustainable Energy.
