3M, one of the founding members of the Global Alliance for Sustainable Energy, is continuing to highlight the connection between sustainability and action towards decarbonizing the global economy during the COP26 climate summit taking place in Glasgow.
3M has convened a panel discussion on “Managing manufacturing challenges in pursuit of climate action”, taking place on Wednesday 10 November at the UN Climate Change Pavilion at 14:00-15:30 GMT.
Alongside Gayle Schueller, 3M’s Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), speakers include Giovanni Tula, head of sustainability at Enel Green Power, another Alliance founder who will talk about how the manufacturing topic ties into the company’s ambitions in sustainable energy. Other panelists will be Sally Uren, CEO, Forum For The Future as well as Lene Mi Ron Kristiansen, CSO of GE Renewable Energy, and Marc Hamy, CEO at Airbus.
