WG2
Circular Design Criteria

We are fully committed to face the sector environmental and social impact, also considering Human Rights concerns, caused by the widespread usage of raw materials in Renewable Energy equipment manufacturing. The Global Alliance for Sustainable Energy has the goal to mitigate it, leveraging on best practice sharing among all the members and foreseeing new design criteria. Therefore, Circular Economy, applied with a holistic approach, can be the perfect enabler to solve this issue. As a global and multisectoral alliance involving companies, associations and academy, we seek to converge efforts in order to create common positions, understandings, methodologies and practices to integrate sustainable and circular design criteria, also pushing for the implementation of common sector tools, in our business.
