Mr. WU Guoqing is the General Manager of Goldwind Windenergy GmbH, the German subsidiary of Goldwind Science and Technology Co., Ltd (SZSE: 002202) (HK: 2208). With over 17 years of wind industry experience, Mr. Wu has held key leadership roles across multinational environments, known for his strategic innovation, high integrity, and dedication to client-focused solutions.
Mr. Wu joined Goldwind in 2007 as a mechanical design engineer in China, quickly advancing to a leadership role in project management, where he led the development of Goldwind’s 2.5-megawatt product line. In 2014, he relocated to Germany, first as Deputy Managing Director, and now as General Manager of Goldwind Windenergy GmbH, where he oversees R&D activities for the European market.
Mr. Wu serves on the Board of Directors of the Global Alliance for Sustainable Energy and actively contributes to the IEC REMC working group 501, “Rules of Procedure,” supporting international standards in the wind power industry.
