As geopolitical tensions and global crises continue to reshape priorities worldwide, discussions surrounding Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles risk being overshadowed. Yet, these principles remain central to building a fair, inclusive, and responsible energy transition.
To better understand how ESG is currently perceived across sectors, the Global Alliance for Sustainable Energy has launched an international survey addressing companies, governments, financial institutions, and civil society organisations. The initiative seeks to assess whether ESG considerations continue to hold the same importance they once did, and how they are evolving in today’s complex environment.
By gathering global insights, the Alliance aims to contribute to a more informed dialogue on sustainability—highlighting that environmental and social responsibility must remain integral to progress, even amid uncertainty.
