By education and inclination, Xavier has gained a global perspective and experience over the last three decades, in two continents and four different countries.
Born in Dunkerque, France, Xavier has earned a master of science in electronics and electrical from Hautes Etudes d’Ingenieur in Lille and a master in business administration from Reims Management School in Reims. The same year of his graduation, he launched his career with 3M initially in France before moving to the US, Poland, and Mexico.
He began as a Marketing Analyst in 3M France in 1990. He went on to global marketing operations manager for the Electronic Solutions Division in Austin, TX in 2000 before coming back to France as country business leader for the electronics and energy business group. He eventually moved to 3M Poland in 2010 to become managing director for the subsidiary. During this period of time, Xavier has been working on the manufacturing footprint expansion of the 3M Wroclaw super hub.
After his Poland assignment, he ran the international operations of the Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division in St. Paul, MN headquarters. In 2016, Xavier assumed responsibility of Managing Director of the 3M subsidiary in Mexico before being named as vice president of the Electrical Markets Division in Austin, TX early May 2018.
