Last May, representatives from international entities and companies, such as the Inter-American Development Bank (IBD), Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI), Way Carbon and International Hydropower Association (IHA), as well as GASE founding members EDP and Enel joined Eletrobras for a 2-day webinar on sustainable finance.
Pressing issues and potential, collaborative solutions were raised on a wide range of topics: how to expand the thematic bond market in Latin America in a sustainable way, ESG second-party opinion, sustainable bonds issuance, climate change and green transition impacts, net zero/decarbonization and actual cases of green-certified assets.
